What is the PS Score?
The PS Score is a 0–100 rating that measures overall PromoStandards data quality. It's calculated using 37 weighted checks across three tiers: Critical (5x), Important (3x), and Nice to Have (1x). Deductions are proportional to the failure rate, so a few missing fields won't tank your score.
What services are validated?
We validate Product Data, Media Content (MED), Product Pricing and Configuration (PPC), and Inventory services. We also check that the supplier implements all important services and runs the latest available versions.
How long does a validation take?
It depends on the number of products. Most validations complete in a few minutes. Large suppliers with tens of thousands of products may take longer. You'll receive an email notification as soon as it's done.
Can distributors use this to evaluate suppliers?
Absolutely. Distributors use the PS Score to compare suppliers before onboarding, identify data quality issues, and share reports with suppliers to request improvements. The PDF report can be shared with anyone — no PSRESTful account needed.
